Sword Identification

I am respectfully looking for assistance. I have spent many hours attempting to decipher the markings on this katana but have only identified a few. Any assistance would be appreciated and welcome.

Thank you.

Wakizashi - Bungo Takada Ju Fujiwara Yukimitsu

Hello Everyone,

My name is Ed and I have a Wakizashi that has a Mei of BUNGO TAKADA JU FUJIWARA YUKIMITSU (or at least that is how I read it since the Kanji is almost identical.) and by looking up this smith I see his era was between 1661-1688.

What I am the most interested in is:

  1. Is this the same location on Kyushu Island that is now Oita Prefecture and near the city of BungoTakada.

  2. Which leads me to my second question, could anyone tell me the daimyo that may have been in control of the area where and when this sword may have been made.

Thank You for any Help.

aluminum handle sword

Greetings all! My name is Cameron and I live in Tacoma, WA. I posted on this site a few years back when I accidentally bought a few fake World War 2 swords. Since then I've learned a little bit more and have got some pieces that I wanted to share with you guys. I wanted your opinions on two of them. This is the first one that I have and the little bit that I know about it is that it's a sword that was made in the closing days of the war when resources were scarce.
