Late Koto period Tanto in original mounts unable to read mej / signature ?

I recently acquired this late koto period tanto from an antique market sale in Brimfeild M.A. I was trying to read the signature on the tang but I am unable to decipher it myself to date. I was told the blade is 1590's The last charchter is also difficult to read. I was wondering if there are any fellow members who can assist? I would be grateful for any information. Thank you

Hirotoki ?

It looks like "HIGO (no) KAMI HIROTOKI".
Not positive about the TOKI, but I found a reference to a "Hirotoki" having the "Higo no Kami" title, so it fits.

Hirotoki Nidai

I agree with Pete.

See Hirotoki.
