Uncertain

Hi,
I'm uncertain about this. The fittings generally look real for WWII.
The blade is unclear to me:
The signature does not include any kanji that I can easily identify, which is suspicious (Chinese fakes often have Chinese kanji).
The condition is very bad.
The signature, and the tang in general, does not look very old, but the end of the tang is squared off (like suriage) - this is unexpected.
The shape of the tip looks good, compared to most Chinese fakes.

Need a picture of the entire tang (signature side), with all the fittings removed.
Need a picture of the entire blade, with no fittings, so that we can see the complete overall shape.
Need a picture of the saya (scabbard).
