help for tachi

Hello all,
I'm new to Nihonto club, so try to find some information.
For some decades I collected some katana and tanto, but had other interests for years.
In the past there was not much information on nihonto, but nowadays it's much easier with all the web info.
To start a search for more information about my most precious sword, as you can see on the images, I ask you to help me.
Thanks, Berend

Thank you for your answer

Thank you for your answer Pete,
I could find a "Hawleys bible" on the internet and waiting till it arrives.
Will create more time to study the swords I have.

Hawley's

Hi,
Hawley's is nothing but a big list of smiths.
You can find the same (and better) info using the "Swordsmith Index" on this site, and other info by using Google.

30 years ago, Hawley's was a great reference, because it was the largest list of smiths in English. But back then, there was no Internet, and no Google...
