Kanenaga with NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon paper

As much as it pains me, I'm in a situation where I may need to sell the Kanenaga Katana I purchased about one year ago from AOI -Art. Any advice or interest will be much appreciated. I can be reached here or at kenbell187@gmail.com

Katana in Shirasaya (NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Paper)

Signature:Mumei (Unsigned) (Kanenaga)

The blade was polished.
Habaki :Gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length : 68.9 cm or 27.12 inches.
Sori : 1.8 cm or 0.7 inches.
Mekugi:Ubu 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.2 cm or 1.25 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.25 cm or 0.88 inches.
Kasane : 0.6 cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Nanbokucho period

Shape : The blade is wide and rather thick oosuriage mumei (cut shortened). Bo-hi is engraved on both side of the blade and longer kissaki nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada and Mokume hada mixed with much jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki gnome midare with deep nioikuchio and In Ha, there are sunagashi and kinsuji works.
Boshi is Midarekomi sharp and turns back.

Special feature :Kanenaga was student of Nagayoshi in Bishu Osafune school. NBTHK appraised this sword as Kanenaga, the blade is wide and rather thick healthy blade which is called Sodenbizen.

The blade has kirikomi kizu on the middle of sashi-omote and also some Oohada and jiare on the Jigane. But the blade is quite active strong feeling sword.
