latest Katana

This is my latest katana, and would like opinions on date etc , it,s in a poor state but of to polish and shirasaya at the minute ,
i look forward to your comments,sorry but last few pics v poor as had problem uploading them,

Hi Peter,

Can't say much without looking at the sugata (and, heh, holding it in my hands :) ), but the blade has this late Shinto (or even later) chunky, heavy look. This is just an impression, completely unfounded. Tsuba looks nice.

Hi Stan and thanks for having a look . As I.ve said my door is open to you when your up this way.
I think I measures it at 99cm overall but might be wrong I should have done more pics and measurements before sending it of. I look forward to showing the Club when it gets back . It has been suggested to be Koto , watch this space. Do satsuma rebellion tsuba usually have a theme?
