i have a shin gunto which has an earlier blade, the oreakashi mei is signed "rai kunitsuga" and is probably the origanal maker, it appears to have been dated "anei 6 9th month" can anyone shed any light on the original age,maker,etc. dave bass |

As for the other side, the quality of the photos doesn't allow me to read it properly (except the date in the line 3). My best guess is as follows, with unrecognizable characters marked by □. I'm sorry, I can't derive any meaning out of it.

If you have larger photos of the tang with lighting which would provide more details, I'd give it another try.
