help identify sword |
The father-in-law brought a sword home from WWII. After many years of it hiding in the back of the closet, he's gone and the family is trying to figure out what it is. I notice it has a take-down screw in the handle, rather than a pin, which leads me to believe it is a manufactured item rather than an older craftsman build. I'm new here so I will try to attach a photo of the markings on the tang. Any help you can offer will be gratefully received. Thanks! |
