尚宗
Description:
Many sources refer to descendants of Naomune (or Naomune from Bunryaku era, the father of Saburō Kunimune) as 'Naomune line'. You may sometimes find references to Bizen Saburō Kunimune as a member of Naomune school. However, Nagayama and others [1][2] choose to treat Kunimune as the most prominent smith of this line and subsequently call it 'Saburō Kunimune school'. Nihonto Club databases are following the same line of thought and use similar convention by defining Saburō Kunimune school, while referring to side lines of Naomune line as Ko-Bizen or Fukuoka Ichimonji. There must be no smith or sword attributions made to Naomune school. This record is just a placeholder. ReferencesSmithsNo smith records found for this school. View swords attributed to this school |
