More information please

Hello all.
I started a threat on NMB to get information on a tanto i just got. http://www.militaria.co.za/nmb/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=13718. If you could add anything further or a link to the smith if it is indeed masakiyo.
Many thanks
PETER

i,m hoping with better pics i could possibly get a little more information on this Tanto, 30.2cm in nagasa. 21.5 blade. kesho yasuri on tang. Toran hamon, this style hamon ive read was favoured by the smiths of Osaka ( settsu province)and the blade seems shinto period.
many thanks,
Peter

Hey Peter,

Apologies, I've been very busy lately.

No you've done everything right. Personally I just don't have any info on that smith.

I also tentatively agree with Showa/Taisho judgement, but can't really add anything meaningful into discussion.

Hi Sean. Thank you for taking

Hi Sean.
Thank you for taking a look. Trust me to get a smith no one has heard of ;-)
It came in carved out Dragon shirasaya so that also may fit with shows or maybe Meiji
A nice little thing though so will put it in new shirasaya and add to my collection.
