Biography and lineage

Recorded dates: Teiji, 2 (1363) [1].

There are only three extant works of him have been confirmed (one Juyo Bijutsu Hin, one Tokubetsu Juyo token and this Juyo Token). Swordsmith directories say that he was active in the Ryakuo Era but Dr. Honma says in 'Kunzan Hibi Sho' that Moritsugu was active a little earlier than the Ryakuo Era (NBTHK Token Bujutsu, issue 601).
