Description

210 cm

Mid Edo period

Blade is bamboo leaf shaped (sasaho) with red laquer on the concave side while it features a shinogi on the other one.
First quarter up of the wood shaft is black laquered with mother-of-pearl inlays.
Ishizuki heel is conical and pointed.
Saya is red laquered in tataki nuri style.
