Biography and lineage
According to Fujishiro, he was a son of Ryōsai who became a Buddhist monk and made swords. One story says that this is the same person as Ryōsai, who later moved to Aki.
Workmanship and style
His works are always a jitetsu of itame with hada arai, and a hamon of ko-midare samishii [1].
