My name is Leen. As far as I can actively remember, I am interested in Nihonto, Japanese martial arts, and Japanese culture.
Some two years ago I started collecting nihonto. However collecting is a big word and I consider myself an amateur.
I work for the city of Amsterdam, practice and teach Okinawa Goju Ryu karate, make knives on occasion and...lots more.
My first sword was a Shinshinto blade in gunto mounts (I collecting by looking into shingunto....and try to collect traditionally made blades in gunto mounts)
This is part of the charm of "shin gunto" you never know what kind of blade you will find in shin gunto koshirae.
