Description:

Hirado-jima is an island lying north-west of Kyūshū (belongs to Hizen province) [1]. Hirado was a village (it's a city now) in the north-eastern part of the island.

The school is founded by Morihiro.

All extant tachi are o-suriage mumei. Style and construction are of the Yoshino period with thick kasane [2].

Tanto are in hirazukuri with saki zori, thick kasane, very little hiraniku and with wide mihaba [2].
